Mosaic Foods has a simple yet important mission: to put good food on every table. Started by two longtime friends, both had grown up eating healthy, plant-based meals, but as they entered adulthood, they found that this was harder to achieve. The nutritious options available for working professionals were costly & time-prohibitive, and the fast food choices didn’t fit the bill. So they started Mosaic Foods over 4 years ago, and today are creating and delivering fast-frozen, delicious meals to over thousands of customers.


Our design & development teams started working with Mosaic Foods earlier this year when they were considering reconfiguring their meal plan options. From the onset, we worked directly with their CMO & marketing team to collaborate on the new “Buy More, Save More”- style of offering they were adding. This included helping to define the new UX flow for both new and existing users, a pivotal step to ensure high conversation and a strong user experience. This streamlined approach also allowed customers to have some flexibility in their meal plans, being able to add additional options instead of being locked into one level or another. 




In terms of technology, that was another fun challenge that we embraced. We integrated with Mosaic Foods’ legacy systems and technology to create a streamlined, workable solution. This allowed us to move forward quickly without having to rewrite the entire application.


And the results have been strong; customers have embraced the new options and continued to love these chef-created, convenient, and delicious meals.
