The brief
Give tenants a reliable record.
Heat Seek helps New Yorkers document heating problems in their apartments. Its team needed reliable sensors and reporting tools that could turn temperature readings into useful records for tenants and their advocates.
Turn readings into a useful log.
The web application brings together indoor and outdoor temperature data, records periods below the applicable heat threshold, and produces graphs and heat logs. Those records support the work of tenants and their advocates.
